       Frequently Asked Questions

Questions:

What is Videodisgo?

Videodisgo is a revolutionary way to rent videos at your local 24-hour grocer or pharmacy.  It combines the convenience of the Internet, with a store-within-a-store concept to allow customers to select, reserve, and order videos from their computers and while at the store.

Can you offer features like Netflix?

Yes, Videodisgo will allow customers to rent as many films as they want for $20 or $30 per month. There will be restrictions on how many discs you can have out at any one time, but other than that, no late fees ever! We will also offer a mail back option if a customer chooses to use it.

How are you different from Blockbuster or Hollywood?

The main difference has to do with how we conduct our business.  Our focus is to combine the cost efficiencies of the Internet with automation.  While a typical Blockbuster has a stand alone store, that is open from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, Videodisgo operates 24/7, and will be co-located within 24-hour grocers, pharmacies, and other retail establishments.

How many DVDs do you stock at one site?

A typical DVD site will hold upwards of 9,000 discs.  Since you can rent from one site and return to another site, you can also search all the inventory within a city, or upwards of 200,000 discs.

What types of DVDs do you stock?

Of course Videodisgo is in the business of trying to make money, and the only way we are going to do that is to offer a selection of movies that not only includes the popular hits, but also a good selection of independent and import movies.  We will not just offer the typical tripe that most chain stores offer, and will also give you services such as reviews, recommendations and favorites on line at the store.

Do you franchise your locations?

NO.  Videodisgo did  allow individuals to purchase site sponsorships, but has discontinued this practice with new funding.
